Alabama’s New ABLE Plan

I am so excited to announce the launch of Alabama ABLE Savings Plan! This is a new ABLE program, and the only official ABLE program for the state of Alabama. If you currently have an ABLE program, consider transferring to the Alabama ABLE Savings Plan and enjoy these features:

  • Gifting Platform – A gifting platform that will allow the account owner to set up their own gifting page that can be shared with friends and family. Now you can let others know that you have an ABLE savings account, and anyone can contribute to help you with your savings goals.

  • Low annual account maintenance fee of $35.00.

  • Online Account Opening – All accounts have the convenience of being opened online including accounts with an authorized legal representative.

Saving for the future is so important and the Alabama ABLE Savings Plan allows you to do just that without jeopardizing resource-based benefits such as SSI and Medicaid.
